Support, consultation, and training to mental health professionals and organizations
A Passion for Training
I love helping other therapists learn, grow, and become more confident and fulfilled. Psychotherapy is a deeply rewarding profession, but it can also be lonely at times. Whether you are learning a new model, such as Emotionally Focused Therapy, or need a safe space to talk about your clinical cases, I am here to support, guide, and empower you to find and strengthen your voice as a therapist. I have been teaching and supervising clinicians for over 10 years. I am a Clinical Associated Professor at NYU Langone Health where I offer seminars, lectures, and supervision to psychology trainees, including postdoctoral fellows and interns, as well as psychiatry residents. Through Touchstone Psychology, I offer group and individual supervision as well as workshops and trainings for therapists as well as general community.
Workshops
I offer workshops and training and participate in speaking engagements at conferences, workshops, retreats and other settings on such topics as:
- Attachment and Relationships
- Emotionally Focused Therapy
- Posttraumatic Stress Disorder
- Trauma-informed Treatment
- Self of Therapist
- Therapist's Self-Care: Preventing Burnout and Vicarious Traumatization
Supervision and Consultation
If you are interested in consultation in Emotionally Focused Therapy, or are working towards ICEEFT Certification in Emotionally Focused Therapy, I will be happy to support your development and growth whatever your level of experience is with EFT. I offer EFT supervision in both individual and group formats. All supervision is offered online via a secure Zoom account. I currently offer monthly online EFT group supervision every second Friday of the month from 10AM-12PM. If you have any questions or would like to sign up, please contact me.
My supervision is based on the principles of alliance and attunement; conceptual grounding in attachment science and EFT; and experiential practice of the EFT skills.
In our supervision, I strive to:

My supervision is based on the principles of alliance and attunement; conceptual grounding in attachment science and EFT; and experiential practice of the EFT skills.
In our supervision, I strive to:
- Create a warm, safe, and supportive environment through attunement and deep listening to your goals and hopes for the supervision process.
- Help you embrace the non-pathologizing, humanistic, experiential approach of EFT. I assist you in understanding of EFT theory and knowledge and its application in a real, experiential way with your clients.
- Provide supportive and constructive feedback on your work in order to empower you in your growth as an EFT therapist. At times we will engage in role play in order to practice the EFT skills and interventions.
- Support you in understanding and resolving your own emotional experiences and reactions (Self of the Therapist) that come up in the work, including potential blocks and challenges.
