Are you seeing clients online or in-person?
We see clients online as well as in person. We offer online sessions to people in the states of NY, NJ, and FL. In person appointments are available in Manhattan, NY.
How frequent are the sessions, how long do they last?
Individual therapy sessions typically last 45-50 minutes; couples therapy sessions typically last 60 minutes. Most people we see for individual or couples therapy attend therapy weekly, some prefer sessions every-other week, and some occasionally seek a second appointment in the same week when needed. We will work together to determine the most optimal frequency of sessions that is right for you.
How long does therapy last?
The length of time varies per person or couple. During our work together, we continuously check-in to see how you feel that you are progressing with your goals.
What are your fees and do you take insurance?
Our fees are in line with other New York based therapists. Contact us for details.
We are not in-network with most insurance plans. The people who see me pay us out of pocket at the time services are rendered. Upon your request, we can provide you with a receipt that you can submit to your insurance for receiving out-of-network reimbursement. We recommend that you contact your insurance carrier to inquire about your out-of-network benefits and reimbursement rates for behavioral health services, including telehealth coverage. We make no guarantees about the level of reimbursement you may receive.
The best way to find out about coverage is to call your insurance company directly and ask the following:

What’s your cancellation policy?
We understand that at times you might need to cancel or reschedule our sessions. Your session time is reserved especially for you and so we request that you offer us a 48 hour cancellation notice to avoid fees. Therapy sessions canceled with less than 48-hours’ notice for non-emergency reasons will be charged the full session fee. We hold ourselves to the same standard.
